Camp Information Below

Important Details:
Camp Dates are June 20th - 24th
Camp runs from 9:30-4:00 for campers
Our camp is held at Loutsis Lake in Duvall (privately owned property off Big Rock Road)
Campers are grouped into “units” for the week of camp.  The campers in each unit are of similar age.
Each of our units are run by two full time volunteers and 2-3 teen leaders.
All campers, LIAs, PAs, and adults must be registered Girl Scouts before applying for camp.  Click here to join Girl Scouts

Registration:
Camper registrations (going into 1st-6th grades this fall) are processed on a first come, first served basis.
Your registration will NOT be processed until all forms and payment are complete.
Registration begins on the evening of Saturday, February 20th

Camp is likely to fill quickly, the sooner your completed registration is received the better. Some units may fill the first day.  The registration deadline is April 1st or when the appropriate unit fills, whichever comes first.  In the past ten years we have always filled long before the deadline so please do not wait to get your registration in.

Campers may request ONE “buddy” for camp.  BOTH campers must request each other and both be in the same grade in order for us honor their buddy request and ensure their placement in the same unit together.

Camp Costs:
$110 for 1st-6th grade campers, LIAs (7th graders), and PA Training (8th-12th graders who have not taken our Valley Day Camp training before)

·         $65 for PAs – 8th – 12th graders who have taken the Valley Day Camp training a previous year

·         $9 or $12 for optional additional camp shirt (so you don’t have to do laundry every day)

PA and LIA Details:
PA and LIA registrations are not completely processed on a first come, first served basis.  Incomplete registrations will not be considered until they are complete.

PA, PAIT, and LIA registrations also require an application that is completed by the LIA or PA them self and is mailed in with their registration.  The link to the application is below. It is available before registration is posted to give girls time to think about their answers.

The LIA and PA programs have longer hours than campers.  They often arrive earlier and leave a little later than the rest of the campers.  These times will be emailed as we get closer to camp.  If a LIA or PA has younger siblings in camp we will do our best to accommodate coordinating drop off and pick up with them.

PAs and LIAs are not able to make buddy requests.

PAs (both fully trained and ones taking training this year) will need to plan to attend a mandatory camp training day on Saturday, June 18th.

Due to the nature of the PA and LIA leadership programs neither are able to leave early from camp or miss a day of camp for anything other than an emergency.  If your schedule won’t allow you to participate EVERY day of the camp, Monday through Friday for ALL the scheduled hours then please plan to apply another year when your schedule will allow you to participate fully.
