What do I do with these patches?

On Friday each camper was given a Ziploc bag with their name on it.  Inside you will find two or three patches (only first time campers receive the semi circle you find in the third photo below).  The first patch was designed and drawn by our very own Mad Hatter!  It represents your camper's participation in Valley Day Camp for 2013.  It should be put on the BACK of her Girl Scout Uniform.

The other patch (or two) represent the skills your daughter worked on at camp this year.  This includes things like fire safety, outdoor cooking, first aid, knots, science, flag etiquette, songs, and much more.  They receive the top of the set and one "bar" in their first year of camp then after that each year of camp they receive an additional "bar".  These all go on the back of their Girl Scout uniform.  If you plan to return to camp leave space below your bar for the ones you will get in the future.
